The Auburn Foundation

The Auburn Foundation is a permanent endowment fund created by Arthur M. Pappas, M.D., and Martha R. Pappas, residents of Auburn and active in community affairs. Their gift was made to Greater Worcester Community Foundation, which serves as permanent steward of the fund. Anyone interested in adding to the Fund may do so with gifts of any size to help expand this resource.

The purpose of the Auburn Foundation is to improve the quality of life for Auburn residents, to create a more vibrant community and to encourage cooperative leadership among Auburn citizens. Of special interest are projects that bring together all ages and sections of the town, that improve the lives of those who are most vulnerable, that contribute to healthy, active living, and that enrich the cultural environment and community life.

An Advisory Committee of current and former Auburn residents has been appointed to review and recommend awards. All eligible applications received by the deadline will be given full consideration.
