Investing Our Gifts
The Foundation’s current spending rate for permanent endowment funds is 4.5% of market value, averaged over twenty preceding quarters ending September 30. Contributions received after September 30 are normally not included in the calculation for the next fiscal year, although exceptions are made for significant gifts.
