Youth for Community Improvement (YCI), an advisory committee of the Greater Worcester Community Foundation comprised of area high school students, requests proposals from Worcester County nonprofit organizations.

AREAS OF INTEREST

Youth/Teen Opportunities (ie. college/career preparation; after-school/summer recreational activities; arts and culture)

Education (ie. access to early education and college; diversity/ cultural awareness; sexual education; environmental education)

Health/ Wellness/Prevention (ie. promotion of health and fitness; prevention of substance abuse, violence, hunger and/or homelessness)

Economic/ Workforce Development (ie. financial self-sufficiency; job creation; job training; programs providing solutions for employment, affordable housing, healthcare and/or transportation)

SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS

Grants range from $500 to $5,000, and total project budgets may not exceed $25,000.
