Since 1975, generous individuals, families and organizations have used the Foundation to manage their charitable giving through a named fund. The Foundation uses the income from these funds to make grants that support organizations and purposed defined by the donor.

Fund for the Arts & Humanities supports cultural programs that enable expanded access to the arts, music, drama, and the humanities.
Community Response Fund enables donors to respond to urgent community needs as identified by the Foundation.
Directors & Corporators Fund provides flexible funding for leadership and special projects operated by the Foundation
Founders Fund is an endowment for community granting, dedicated to those individuals who were instrumental in the establishment of Greater Worcester Community Foundation in 1975.
General Scholarship Fund provides college scholarship awards to graduating high school seniors from Worcester and the area.
GLBT Endowment Fund, created in 2005 thanks to an outpouring of support from the community, to foster safety and social equality for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals and their families.
Water & Land Stewardship Fund provides small grants to local grassroots activities intended to preserve and protect the natural environment and watersheds of Central Massachusetts.
Worcester Street Tree Fund is the only endowment dedicated to funding street trees in the city of Worcester.
Youth for Community Improvement Endowment Fund was created by the YCI Class of 2001, to expand the role of youth as leaders.
Youth Opportunity Fund invests in programs that help disadvantaged young people expand their horizons and develop networks of support.
