Workshop Description: Are you interested in taking the next step toward equity in your organization and your work, but not sure how to move forward? This session will help. Organized as a clinic and led a senior executive and experienced consultant, you can expect practical advice and consultation in a supportive, non-judging and confidential setting. You will also have ample opportunity to share your experience and learn from others in the group. Follow- up peer support may be available.
About the Presenters:
Since 1992, Linda Cavaioli has served as Executive Director of the YWCA of Central Massachusetts, a $6 million non-profit dedicated to the elimination of racism and empowerment of women. Linda is deeply involved in the Worcester community and has held numerous leadership roles in nonprofit organizations and government commissions. She holds a BA from the University of New Hampshire and a MBA from Clark University.
Valerie Zolezzi-Wyndham is President of Promoting Good, LLC a consulting firm providing excellence, passion and creativity in support of non-profit organizations. She formerly served as Managing Attorney at Community Legal Aid where she co-founded and co-chaired CLA's Diversity and Equity Committee. She is currently Board Chair of the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center and served for six years on the Board of the Worcester County Food Bank. Valerie holds a BA from Boston College and a JD from Boston University School of Law. She was born in Mexico City.
